How to Create FTP Accounts
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) allows you to upload, download and manage website files using FTP software such as FileZilla.
Step 1: Login to cPanel
Access your hosting account and open cPanel.
Step 2: Open FTP Accounts
Navigate to:
Files → FTP Accounts
Step 3: Create New FTP Account
Enter the following details:
FTP Username:
developer
Password:
Create a strong password
Directory:
public_html
Quota:
Unlimited or specify a limit
Step 4: Create Account
Click:
Create FTP Account
FTP Connection Details
Hostname:
ftp.yourdomain.com
Username:
developer@yourdomain.com
Password:
Your FTP Password
Port:
21
Using FileZilla

Open FileZilla.

Enter Host, Username and Password.

Port: 21

Click Quick Connect.
Security Recommendations

Use strong passwords.

Remove unused FTP accounts.

Restrict FTP access to specific directories.

Use FTPS (FTP over SSL) whenever available.
Troubleshooting
If connection fails:
