How to Enable Free SSL Certificate

SSL certificates encrypt data transmitted between your website and visitors, improving security and trust.

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

Access your hosting account and open cPanel.

Step 2: Locate SSL/TLS Status

Navigate to:

Security → SSL/TLS Status

Step 3: Select Your Domain

Tick the domain(s) for which you want to enable SSL.

Step 4: Run AutoSSL

Click:

Run AutoSSL

The system will automatically validate the domain and install a free SSL certificate.

Step 5: Verify SSL Installation

Visit:

https://yourdomain.com

If the site loads securely, SSL has been installed successfully.

Force HTTPS

To automatically redirect visitors to HTTPS:

1. Open File Manager.

2. Edit the .htaccess file.

3. Add HTTPS redirection rules.

Troubleshooting

If SSL fails to install:

• Verify domain DNS is pointing to the hosting server.

• Remove conflicting DNS records.

• Wait for DNS propagation.
